WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

Front of House Volunteers
The most common volunteer opportunity is working front of house on performance nights; volunteers get to see the show for free. Front of house volunteers may assist with ticket sales, concession sales, or hand out programs. To volunteer for front of house, call our ticket reservation number 919.682.3343, and leave a message telling us which performance you want to work. Volunteers need to be at the theater no later than 7pm (or 2pm on Sundays).

Other Volunteers
You can sign up via email for our volunteers list. Volunteers may help with work days (painting/building sets, striking sets, cleaning, setup of seating, etc.) or with productions (assisting tech crew, or backstage crew). Please send your mailing address (including Zip Code), your email address, and your skills/interests (carpentry, painting, lighting, etc.)

Actor Auditions
Email us your mailing address (including Zip Code) and your email address, and state that you want to be notified of upcoming auditions. Manbites generally holds at least one open audition per year.

Script Submissions
We are not actively soliciting script submissions or script summaries. (Most of our original productions are originated in-house.) We will try (but not guarantee) to look at unsolicited material, as time permits. If you choose to send something, it should be addressed to our Post Office box. Do NOT send your only copy of anything.

Other Voices
Manbites Dog presents a series of guest companies and artists chosen for the quality of their work and the uniqueness of their artistic vision. We are not currently accepting proposals for Other Voices.

Space Rental
Manbites Dog performance space is used for Manbites Dog season productions, and for Other Voices presentations. It is sometimes available for rent as scheduling permits for meetings, and private parties. Please contact us for rates and additional information.
