THANKS FOR 25 SEASONS OF SUPPORT!

Manbites Dog is currently celebrating its 25th season, which got off to a great start with our regional premiere of Will Eno's Middletown, followed by our Other Voices presentation of Living with the Tiger, the first show ever by innovative new Durham theater company Haymaker.

And there's a lot more to come this season, including in December the regional premiere of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them, the smash hit of this year's Humana Festival of New American Plays.

But we would not have survived 25 years without the incredible support from all of you in our community. To create new and exciting theater, we rely on your individual donations, which pay for a big hunk of our annual budget. That's why we are asking you to take part in our end of year fundraising campaign. Our goal is ambitious - we want to raise $15,000 over the next couple of months - but with your participation, we know we can make it.

$25 FOR 25
We know what you're saying -- these days your budget is stretched thin, and everyone is asking for support. And we don't want to add to your stress by asking for more than you can afford.

So here's the deal:

To help celebrate our 25 seasons, please send us $25.

That's right -- we are asking for a small expression of support that just about everybody can afford. And that's the point: we want ALL OF YOU to take part. $25 isn't much -- it's barely enough for a couple of movie tickets and popcorn. But with EVERYONE participating, it adds up in a big way -- allowing us to pay the bills, keep our building open and running, and producing the kind of innovative and exciting theater you expect from us.

And if you can't afford $25 -- or would like to donate more? No problem! Send what you can afford. Every dollar really does help.

Because of your strong response in the past, we are not sending out a fundraising mailing, saving us the costs of printing and postage. That means that all donations directly support Manbites Dog..

OUR PLAYS ARE ABOUT YOU
Manbites Dog Theater is more than the plays that we present and the very talented artists who create them. It's also the people who make Manbites Dog a part of their lives. We're amazingly fortunate to be able to share our work with a great bunch of loyal supporters. Your enthusiasm for the shows we present is what makes it fun for us. Nothing beats the audience's excited buzz and thoughtful comments in our lobby after a performance.
