NEIGHBORHOOD 3: REQUISITION OF DOOM

Audience Opinions

Just wanted to send you a quick note of congrats on a really great production. You may see me again with the wife before the run is over. I'm a little nervous though because after seeing it she might lock up my X-BOX. I think what I liked most about the script was how the play was really about so much more than just playing the video game. It actually made me think about Columbine, I always wondered how those kids could have all those guns and weapons in their rooms and their parents be totally blind to it. The play is really about walls and communication or lack thereof between parents and children and the things that cause it. What a great selection. Great acting and a great job with the direction, the piece really flowed.
It was a great night of theatre for me.

- Howard Craft, playwright (Caleb Calypso and the Midnight Marauders)

Yet again, a great night at Manbites Dog. If I'm a little bit scared, and a little bit unsure of where a show is headed, I figure it's a very good show. This story skirted around some things I've been suspicious of for some years: what really is happening to families when so many are spending so much time in virtual states? Is all that violence really benign? How could it be? Thank you for bringing another very well-written piece to the stage, and for inspiring another great cast to do this show. More!
