When are Season Vouchers on sale?
Our 2008-09 Season Voucher packs went on sale in late July,
but are now SOLD OUT. Please try us again next season.

If you have already purchased Season Vouchers, here is some useful information about using them:

For what shows will you honor vouchers?
All Manbites Dog productions and all Other Voices guest presentations in our current season, which runs through June 2009.*

I've heard that there are a lot of "special" shows that don't accept Vouchers. Is that true?
Not true.

So I can use my vouchers for any show?
Pretty much.

Aha! What performances don't allow vouchers?
Fundraisers, or private or rental events. Also, no vouchers on "pay what you can nights" (since the tickets on those nights cost less than vouchers).

How much money do I save by using vouchers?
It depends. Standard ticket prices for most of our shows this season are $12 on weeknights (Wednesdays, Thursdays) and $17 on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays). Since you don't save money by using them on weeknights, we recommend using them weekends. For a $17 tickets, , you will be saving at least $4.50 per ticket (more if you bought vouchers at the Early Bird rate).

Can I use more than two vouchers for one show?
Yes. You can split your voucher use any way you like: bring a party of eight and use all your vouchers at once, or see eight different shows by yourself, or any combination in–between. It's up to you.

How do I use my vouchers?
When tickets go on sale for a show (usually about 4 weeks before opening) call our voice mail number 919.682.3343 and leave a message requesting tickets on the night you want to attend. We will debit your Season Voucher account for the number of tickets you are getting, and call you back to confirm your purchase. Then just pick up your tickets at the box office the night you attend. That's all there is to it.

Can I just show up at the door without advance reservations and still use my vouchers?
Yes, but we recommend reserving in advance for two reasons:
1. You save time by not having to wait while we process your vouchers at the box office; if you reserve in advance your tickets will be waiting for you when you arrive.
2. You are guaranteed tickets. (See below)

What if I reserve with my vouchers but am unable to attend or don't use all my tickets? Can you credit the unused vouchers back to my "Voucher Account"?
Unless the performance is cancelled, voucher purchases of tickets are final, just as if you purchased them with a credit card. If you contact us in advance, we will usually be able to exchange your tickets for a different performance night or show, but cannot guarantee it, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your order. Sorry, but we will not be able to do ticket exchanges or rescheduling at the box office when you attend.

Can I just phone for reservations and pay with cash or check when I attend like I've done in the past?
No, the only way to reserve tickets is by advance purchase, or by using vouchers.

What if I want to get, say, four tickets but only have 3 vouchers left? Can I phone reserve the 4th ticket and pay for it when I pick up my other 3 tickets?
No, you will only be able to reserve 3 tickets. You can purchase the 4th ticket separately, or purchase an additional pack of eight vouchers.

If I can't attend, can I let a friend use my vouchers?
Of course. You can use the vouchers to treat a friend or frends to a night of theater. Just make sure to make a reservation and to inform your friend where we are and when to pick up tickets. (And a packet of vouchers makes a great gift for a friend who likes theater but hasn't yet discovered Manbites Dog!)

If a show is sold out and I don't have a reservation, does my voucher guarantee admission, or priority on the waiting list?
No. Vouchers don't guarantee admission if a show is sold out. To be sure of getting a ticket, always call in advance to reserve your tickets for the night you want, then pick them up at the door. Call as soon as you know when you want to attend, some shows fill up early. If you don't have a reservation, but are able to get a ticket by signing up for the waiting list, you CAN use your voucher at that point to purchase your ticket.

Can I buy just four vouchers?
No. Vouchers are only sold in packets of eight.

How much does a packet cost?
Just $100 for eight vouchers.
