REVIEWS:
A musical long-form poem about eroticism, love, loneliness, trust, and commitment. It walks; it talks (and talks some more); its sings; it dances; it gets in and out of the hot tub… it portrays the mythic and timeless struggle between men and women as a bloody war in which a few battles may end in happy détente. It is very, very funny. It also features a beautiful, delicate, melancholy performance by Tom Marriott that remains etched on the heart after the amusements have faded.

In a wedding season marked by swooning sighs of "I do," Fistful of Love fights back with a belligerent "I won't"… A contemporary multimedia adaptation of Aeschylus' ancient Greek drama "The Suppliants," Fistful takes altar aversion to bloody extremes. But it also offers enough confections of its own to turn the tragedy into a romantic comedy.

Comments from audience members:
Matt says: I normally don't like plays, but this one's great!! Seriously, I've never seen a play I've loved, until now... it's full of great cast, performance, songs, humor, deep philosophical musings about love/sex/relationships, and some skin!. And a short movie, to boot. The music is great and hilarious at the same time. This is community theater at it's best and, imho, blows away any big budget show I've ever seen... I helped make the film [used in the show], but we had no idea what the play was all about, and it blew us away. So proud to have contributed to it in a small way.
