Adapted from her novella by Jody McAuliffe, this surreal dreamplay charts the tortured life of the original suicidal artist, Heinrich von Kleist. Wildly famous in the rest of the world and a cult favorite in the US, Kleist was the author of the 19th century classics The Marquise of O., Michael Kohlhaas, Penthesilea, and The Prince of Homburg. A multi-media, movement theater staging, like nothing else you'll see all season.

- Performances will take place in an environmental staging in the Strawbridge Building, which is across the street and a couple of doors up the street from Manbites Dog. Please pick up and purchase tickets at our usual box office location in Manbites Dog's lobby; we will then guide you to the performance location.
