a Manbites Dog Theater production
Blue/Orange
by Joe Penhall
directed by Natalie Sowell
Featuring John Honeycutt, Trevor J. Johnson, Allan Maule
In a London psychiatric hospital, two doctors clash over the treatment of an enigmatic patient who claims to be the son of an African dictator. An incendiary story about race, madness, and power, Penhall's stinging satire received an Olivier Award and citations from the Evening Standard and Critics' Circle as "Best New Play" following its 2000 London premiere.
