WAITING LIST INFORMATION
For performances that have sold out in advance, Manbites Dog will start taking names for a waiting list at the theater when we open the box office approximately 75 minutes prior to curtain (about 7 p.m. for 8:15 shows, and about 2 p.m. for 3:15 matinees). We do not accept phone requests for the waiting list -- you have to be at the theater in person. Tickets at the door are cash or check only, no credit cards. Most weekend shows are $15.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How many tickets will you have available?
We won't know for sure until the night of the show, but usually we have a few house tickets available. In addition, we sometimes have last minute cancellations, no-shows, or attendees who don't need all of their reserved tickets.

What are my chances of getting in?
There are no guarantees, but if you're the first person on the list, your chances are very good. Your odds lessen the further down on the list you are.

What time should I arrive to be first in line?
(Yes, we really get asked this question. A lot.)
Sometimes nobody arrives for the waiting list until fifteen or twenty minutes after we open. Sometimes there are already a half dozen or more people lined up outside when we arrive. You never know.

We have a group of eight. Can I come by myself and sign up all eight?
You can sign up for a maximum of four tickets. To sign up a group of eight, at least two of you would have to be here in person. (Note: we don't allow scalping. If you attempt it, you get removed from the list.)

When do you start releasing tickets to the waiting list?
About five minutes prior to curtain, once most of the people with reservations are seated. If we call your name and you are not here, we cross you off the list and go to the next person.

What is seating like for the waiting list?
Seating will probably not be together. It may be side seating (reasonably good sightlines, but at an angle). For some shows we may offer standing room.

What if I don't like the seating?
Return to the box office BEFORE the show starts for a full refund. We will resell your tickets to the next person(s) on the waiting list.

If I'm on the waiting list but don't get in, can I "carry over" to the waiting list for the next show?
No, we start the waiting list fresh when we open the box office for each show.

If I have Season Vouchers, do I get priority on the waiting list?
No, but you CAN use your vouchers to purchase your tickets if you do get in.

I have a friend in the show; can he put me on the waiting list?
No, you have to be here in person to get on the list.

Why don't you just hold the show over?
Usually because other shows are scheduled, and the actors and crew have other commitments. We would if we could but sometimes we can't.

I REALLY wanted to see the show, but now I can't...
What lesson can I learn from this?

Purchase or reserve tickets early.

It's not fair! Nobody told me it was going to sell out.
Theater, unlike everything else in the universe, is not fair.

Is that really your box office in the photo?
No, although our lobby has recently been redecorated and now looks incredibly spiffy.
